Chocolate Fudge Frosting

This recipe is basically Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Frosting, except that the butter is room temperature rather than melted. I have had better success with it this way. I typically double this recipe when filling and frosting an 8-inch layer cake.

Chocolate Fudge Frosting

½ cup butter, room temperature

⅔ cup cocoa

3 cups powdered sugar

⅓ cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy, several minutes.
